​​RALC is proud to offer a presentation on The Writing Revolution  and Hochman Method, an empowering approach to teaching writing. This event will also include the opportunity to join a book club centered around the book The Writing Revolution 2.0 by Judith Hochman and Natalie Wexler. This is a great chance to explore effective strategies for improving student writing skills and engage in meaningful discussions with fellow educators. The Writing Revolution 2.0 Presentation and the  Virtual Book Club includes the following: 

• Presentation with Writing Revolution Representatives and initial book club meeting: September 18, 2024 from 4:00pm-5:00pm
• Book Club Meeting 2: Thursday, October 17th from 6:30-8:00pm
• Book Club Meeting 3: Thursday, November 14th from 6:30-8:00pm
• Book Club Meeting 4: Thursday, December 19th from 6:30-8:00pm
• Book Club Meeting 5: Thursday, January 16th from 6:30-8:00pm

Cost for RALC and NYSRA Members:  $10
